The Process
Some of what goes into each trophy and
behind the scenes here at Woodbury.
![]() Special care is given to every crate to assure a safe delivery. After framing, plywood is applied for strength and privacy. We offer substantial discounts on all outgoing freight. ![]() The capes are carefully salted and resalted then hung to dry. After all moisture is removed, it will be shipped to one of the five tanneries we use that specialize in North American, African and Asian skins. |
![]() After measurements are taken, your trophy is carefully skinned and fleshed. Your order number is punched in every skin to assure proper identification after returning from the tannery. ![]() In addition, we offer full custom meat processing. Our special blend of seasonings and hickory smoking creates some of the finest tasting sausages, jerky, and smoked hams. The Hill Country offers a large variety of venison. We offer retail products such as jerky and dried sausage. We ship nationwide. |
![]() Quality tanned capes is our assurance of a long lasting mount. |
![]() Our cheerful office staff is always willing to answer any of your questions that may arise during the taxidermy stages. |
